Is this... Ironic? I really don't know if they're being serious or not.

Some of these are from the top posts on the sub. Have I been clowned or is this serious?

Yes, Its ALL ironic. They are getting lulz out of doing it right in front of everyones faces and 98% of Reddit being too dumb and dense to realize. Including most Admins.

The way I understand it...

SJW = Social Justice Warriors
PC = Politically Correct

Clowns = Similar to Non-Friends, but I think they are even worse. Media manipulators, reject sciences like biology, embraces useless social sciences like women's studies, etc. Basically they compete in the Oppression Olympics 24/7: https://knowyourmeme.com/memes/oppression-olympics

4Chan claims we all live in clown world now since we have to pretend to believe things that aren't true just not to offend and go against narrative.

Frens = Anyone who hates SJW and PC Culture
Non-Friends = Anyone who promotes SJW and PC Culture

The whole sub is brilliant in my opinion on a psychology type of level...To anyone who doesn't dig too deep and doesn't understand internet slang/culture & meme slang/culture all of this will appear completely innocent to them. They also purposely choose the most retarded symbols as they find it hilarious when the media reports on "Nazi Frogs" and the right's obsession with Hydration, Clowns, etc. They are essentially hiding in plain sight. Its essentially some people fighting back against the social justice warrior culture that has happened in the last 5 years. Reddit, Facebook, Twitter, Google, all are run by extreme Social Justice warriors and Politically Correct people. Most tech companies in silicon valley are this way. They have really been able to shape our world's opinions, news, views, etc in the last 5-10 years. They are skewing it heavily left, sjw, and pc. This is a little hacker collective formed between 4chan, 8chan, and reddit that is fighting back against this.

The social media companies have been silencing anyone with opinions they don't like. They will shadowban users so they don't show up in searches and feeds, they will outright ban and delete accounts. Reddit is famous for this. Spez the CEO of Reddit admitted to edit comments via database edits in The_Donald. This is why the edit button in that sub is now called the "spez" button. Reddit has a new feature to Quarantine subreddits. It makes it invisible to anyone who doesn't know exact link. It won't show up in search results or feeds. It doesn't allow you to see how many subscribers it has and it disables many features within the sub. It also displays an annoying warning popup that says this how horrible this place is...This is the step Reddit takes before they outright ban your sub. This is what happened to /r/CringeAnarchy which is why all these new subs are popping up with these new ideas to talk in code, because Reddit has been banning the others. CringeAnarchy got quarantined and Admins sent a message to mods saying shape up or else. They were forced to add moderators to their team they didn't want. These moderators were mods of uber strict sjw and pc subs. Essentially the Admins forced a takeover. When users rebelled and acted even worse than before...they banned sub entirely within like a week.

https://www.reddit.com/r/clownworldwar < this sub is similar to frenworld, but not nearly as good about hiding their bad behavior so its quarantined. Notice they are talking about Clowns lol.

Whenever they say something like "Despite being only 13%..."

They are specifically referring to something that most people running social media sites considers racist. Saying even those words now is dangerous and will get you banned on almost any reddit sub.

They are referring to this meme: https://knowyourmeme.com/memes/despite-being-only-13-percent-of-the-population

The meme is referring to FBI crime statistics that point out the disparity between the percentage of violent crimes being committed by African Americans vs Their % of the Population. At that time, AA violent crimes were closer to 50%, but now its dropped to 40.5%.
https://ucr.fbi.gov/crime-in-the-u.s/2017/crime-in-the-u.s.-2017/tables/table-49

The despite part of the meme comes from the fact that at the time of the meme, African Americans made up 13% of the total US population. However now its 14% https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Race_and_ethnicity_in_the_United_States#Black_and_African_Americans

So the meme being 13% and 50% isn't really accurate anymore...should be 14% and 40/41% now days...

One side quoting outdated statistics to get a rise out of people and offend. Other side getting super butthurt over words that were at one point technically true. Getting so offended they are banned accounts, subs, etc. Strange times we are living...2019 :-S

Of course you can make the counter argument about well, why are they committing more crimes? because they are statistically more likely to be poor, under-educated, and racially profiled. Well why is that? Due to hardcore racism in America for 80-90% of its existence. Hell, African Americans weren't even allowed to go to the same schools until the 1960s. So you can argue that systemic racism caused their community to be having the problems they are today. I think its a discussion that can be civilly had, but has little chance of ever happening. Thus...instead of one side toning down the hateful memes and talking points and the other stop being offended at nearly everything...we will have clowns, racist frogs, banning of subs, everyone screaming NAZI's, and all out insanity instead because the world is fucking retarded...

I hope this educates you some more on these new parts of the internet. I find the weird cultures to be fascinating, especially because of how strange of symbols they use and how they always make it humorous...but also how they are now doing this hiding in plain sight scheme. I just like knowing whats going on online.

Also the 4chan kids and more specifically /pol/ loves doing psy ops on social media and even the real media. Convincing them to believe dumb stuff is real just for the lulz.

Examples:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ivCo9UN_9jo
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7liYfhRgXGk
OVER 9000 is common 4chan meme.

Example of 4chan trying to make Hilary lose by spreading #ShariaForAmerica and #SellOurDaughters memes

Fucking christ, I don't know if this is a rabbithole I want to dive into.

I discussed this recently and want to hear someone else's opinion too: where is the appropriate area / what is the limit of political correctness? At both far ends of the spectrum you're just being an asshole lol

I thought it was quarantined because it had "nigga" in the title. They're literally just memes about drinking water lmao

Thank you for all the info, i love this weird shit too. It's just not always obvious... which i guess is kind of the point. Where do you draw the line between irony and actual racism?

I've participated in a few of these threads myself. In some sense, we are all the hacker known as four chin :^))))

might have to refresh, because I went back and edited and added a lot more lol.

Yea its quite the rabbit hole. /pol/ on 4Chan is like its own little propaganda department. The funny part is, no one is running it, so its just whatever the anonymous users that decided to log onto 4chan and /pol/ that day decided to do or fuck with...

What 4chan believes one day may not be what it believes the next because its different people making up the "anonymous collective"

Pretty much everyone on 4chan whether they are left, center, right, or anything really...they all agree to HATE SJW and PC culture. Thats one front they are ALL united on.

this is why I like watching C-Span call-in programs (Washington Journal 7-10 AM every day plus other random times)

you never know when they will get a fake phone call and actually let the person rant for a while. you probably wouldn't realize it's fake because if someone calls and says something that's not PC they will cut them off. during the Kavanaugh / Blasey Ford thing they got a lot of fake calls w/ pretty graphic descriptions from female callers about how men raped them (sometimes you could tell it was a guy doing a female voice) the moderators didn't know if they should cut them off or let them speak. it was like a SJW/PC grey area.

it's better than like MSNBC/FOX/CNN those networks are basically just there because they have the logistics and money to cover big world events like hurricanes or earthquakes and wars. keep in mind not more than 500k/2million Americans actually sit and watch Maddow or Hannity at night.
